For many years, I have approached online professional learning as a form of publishing: not simply recording an event, but thoughtfully developing an experience that can remain useful well beyond the moment in which it was first presented.

Between 2021 and 2024, Music Therapy Consulting and De La Vista Publisher produced an extensive collection of professional webinars bringing together researchers, clinicians, educators, program leaders, interdisciplinary professionals, and international colleagues. Today, I am pleased to make that entire collection freely accessible. The library includes 11 webinar series, 60 individual sessions, and approximately 50 hours of professional learning. They represent an extraordinary range of expertise and perspectives across contemporary music therapy practice. The subjects are equally wide-ranging: neonatal intensive care, autism, infant and early childhood mental health, dementia, healthcare, assessment, adaptive music making, telepractice, family-centered practice, professional certification, interdisciplinary collaboration, research, program development, and more. Some sessions explore highly specialized areas of clinical practice; others address broader questions of professional growth, systems of care, collaboration, innovation, and the translation of research into practice.

These programs were created with considerable intention and care. Each series was developed around a clear professional focus, with invited experts, carefully sequenced sessions, visual presentation, editing, and production designed specifically for an online learning environment. The goal was always to create something worth returning to: professional content that could be watched closely, revisited, reflected upon, and used as a resource over time. That remains one of the great strengths of well-designed online learning. It creates room for a different kind of engagement. A participant can pause with an idea, revisit a clinical example, explore a reference, connect concepts across sessions, and return later with new experience and new questions. When digital learning is thoughtfully produced, the recording becomes more than documentation—it becomes a lasting professional resource.

Making this collection freely available is also something personal for me. Music Therapy Consulting has always been shaped by exchange—with colleagues, students, practitioners, organizations, and professionals across many parts of the world. Opening this library through De La Vista Publisher is my way of giving this body of work back to that community and allowing the knowledge, expertise, and generosity of its many contributors to continue serving others.
