As Fulbright Specialist, former President of the World Federation of Music Therapy, and internationally recognized innovation leader, Dr. Petra Kern collaborates across healthcare, education, research, and community sectors to advance inclusive and human-centered approaches through music, technology, and interdisciplinary partnership.
Her work has shaped international dialogue on inclusion, early childhood development, neurodiversity, digital innovation, artificial intelligence, workforce development, and future-oriented practice through keynote presentations, invited lectures, advisory contributions, and collaborations spanning North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and the Middle East.
Dr. Kern has partnered with organizations including Sinfonía por el Perú, LASALLE College of the Arts Singapore, Anouk Foundation Switzerland, and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna to develop scalable programs, digital learning initiatives, workforce development models, and interdisciplinary collaborations that strengthen participation, learning, and meaningful systems change.
As founder and editor of imagine, a global multimedia eJournal engaging more than 900 contributors across approximately 50 countries, she continues to expand international knowledge exchange, accessible publishing, and interdisciplinary dialogue through research, education, and digital media.
