Dr. Kern is getting ready for her final CBMT Board of Directors meeting. The Board is meeting online via Zoom on Friday and Saturday. But beforehand, each Board of Director needs to read through the 79-page Board Book to make informed decisions on behalf of all certificants. During Dr. Kern’s 5-year term, the Board worked on making re-certification credits more accessible for certificants, started CBMT’s international expansion program, approved to implement a robust data-base, partnered with Dobies to re-design the CBMT website and create professional explainer videos, brochures, and social media posts, conducted a Practice Analysis Survey and released the 2020 Board Certification Domains, and just recently, distributed the new digital badges.
