On January 27, 2021, Dr. Petra Kern will give a virtual guest lecture at the Akademia Muzyczna, Katowice in Poland. The requested topic by program director Dr. Ludwika Konieczna is “Myths and Facts: Exploring the Behavioral Approach to Music Therapy. Dr. Kern will explore students’ opinions and assumptions, deliver facts, engage them in two experiments, discuss major principles of ABA, and have students apply them to their clinical practice examples. She will also give an outlook on current developments and concludes with Q&As.
