Over the past 80 years, music therapy seems to have developed worldwide; yet it continues to be a small field facing various challenges. Today, three major barriers and an unprecedented global pandemic need to be overcome for continued growth of the profession. The complexity of the issue can be better understood, and potential solutions found, when learning about various aspects and viewpoints from music therapy leaders worldwide. Dr. Lori Gooding, the AMTA President Elect and AMTA’s COVID-19 Task Force Chair will join Dr. Petra Kern and Dr. Daniel Tague at this highly relevant session.
