Lima, Peru — November 27, 2025 — Sinfonía por el Perú is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Petra Kern, an international leader in inclusion and a Fulbright Specialist (2024–2027), to its Advisory Council. Dr. Kern will offer strategic guidance and evidence-based recommendations to strengthen the organization’s institutional development and to advance comprehensive inclusion initiatives across all programs. Dr. Kern is globally recognized for her contributions as a music therapist, researcher, educator, and editor, with extensive experience designing and implementing inclusive approaches in music, education, and community settings. Her expertise will be instrumental in supporting Sinfonía por el Perú’s ongoing commitment to ensuring access, equity, and participation for children and youth throughout the country. As a member of the Advisory Council, Dr. Kern will collaborate with Sinfonía por el Perú’s leadership to expand methodological strategies, strengthen organizational capacity, and promote best practices that align with global standards in inclusion and social development.
